A hotel room. A woman (doll) is waiting for the call from her lover (doll). His arrival and their sexual intercourse are like a ritual for her, which takes her into a floating, pleasing state of mind. She opens herself to the man through sex, while the man/doll considers it all as relieving himself, after which he just vanishes into thin air. The doll remains alone in the empty room, disappointed and hurt.

Lucija Mrzljak

My first works as illustrator were a collaboration with Estonian author Indrek Koff and the translation of that book (Flowers of Fever) was recently published by publisher Mala zvona in Zagreb. In Croatia, my first collaboration was with Olja Savičević Ivančević and her book Moj prijatelj Mačkodlak won the Grigor Vitez Award for illustration. The translation of that book will soon be published in Estonia.
