The internet platform croatian.film is the central online point for watching and the promotion of Croatian films of all styles, types and genres.
The croatian.film platform was launched in 2020 by Zagreb Film Festival artistic organisation with the aim of promoting Croatian cinema, providing information about Croatian filmmaking and broadening the availability of Croatian films among a wide range of viewers and filmmakers from Croatia and beyond. The platform is also a follow-up on the Checkers section, presenting since 2005 at Zagreb Film Festival short fiction films made by emerging filmmakers; today it is considered one of the most significant platforms for the promotion of Croatian cinema.
Around four hundred film titles are currently available via the platform. Short films can be streamed free of charge, and feature-length are available for a fee.

The platform is co-funded by the Ministry of Culture as part of the Open Call for incentivising entrepreneurship in culture and creative industries, and by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre as part of the Open Call for incentivising complementary activities. The platform’s operations are also financed via open calls of the City of Zagreb, Kultura nova Foundation and Croatian Filmmakers and Producers Association. The project leader is Zagreb Film Festival artistic organisation.
