The film follows visitors of the “Advent in Zagreb”, as they march after the traditional sausages sold on street stands which represent a grotesque object of desire and pleasure.
David Lušičić was born in 1976 in Rijeka. He works as an independent director, producer, lecturer, and interdisciplinary cultural project manager. He holds a master's degree in TV and film directing from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, a master's degree in art from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London, and a master's degree in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana. After finishing his first independent film project, the feature-length omnibus 'Transmania', which premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2016, he launched a production company through which he develops and produces a variety of innovative audiovisual projects. He is the author of award-winning short documentary and experimental films ('The Statute', 'Tubes', 'Closing Time', 'The Seagull'), as well as his feature-length debut, 'Mlungu – The White King', which premiered at ZagrebDox in 2022 and subsequently won awards for Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Sound. In 2025, he is producing and directing his second feature film, 'Via Roma'.
