Croatian factories and plants that have gone bankrupt in the last several years due to recession, become the site in which various performers bring to life the movements of former employees through dance choreography and stage movement, while simultaneously opening new worlds by means of their own perception, employing the visualization of space and its context.
Tamara Bilankov (Split, 1988) began her career as a professional journalist after completing high school. She holds a Master’s degree from the Department of Animated Film and New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and from the Department of Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. In her postgraduate studies at Radboud University, she trained as a RITHA practitioner (an expert in education for gifted children and students). Since 2015, she has worked as an instructor on various film and art workshops with the Blank association, and since 2016, she has taught film, video, animation, and visual communication at the School of Art, Design, Graphics, and Clothing in Zabok. She has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and participated in professional workshops and seminars.
