August in the city. The streets are deserted because everyone has gone away for the holidays. Instead of enjoying the summer like his friends, Joško has to take care of his Nanna who has just came back from a spa. While trying to handle his moody Nanna and the unbearable heat, Joško is not the best roommate himself.

Andrija Mardešić

Andrija Mardešić (1985) was born in Split, Croatia. He graduated film and TV directing at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Arts. He is an author of several short films (Iris, Two of us, Steppe fox…) which brought him critical acclaim from Croatian film festivals. After graduation he worked as director or writer on numerous TV series: Wind Rose (2011/12.), #Don’t tell anyone (2014.), Whichever Way the Ball Bounces (2015), Y-Generation (2014/15.), On the border (2018/19).
