In the 1950s the authors`s grandaunt moves with her husband from Yugoslavia to West Germany. The photographs she sends to her sisters document their new life in the West.

Nikolina Bogdanović (1986) holds a master degree in Philosophy and German Studies (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Zagreb) and Dramaturgy (Academy of Dramatic Art Zagreb). 2017/2018. she attended the Restart documentary film school. She works as a screenwriter and dramaturg and lives in Zagreb.
