Nika is a young journalist who gets her first big story in the most widely read daily newspaper – an article about Roko, a young man being blackmailed by drug dealers for his brother’s debts, while institutions turn a blind eye. The editor asks for a follow-up, but Roko refuses to cooperate. After the story gets out, the threats intensify. Nika asks her brother, a police inspector, to help, but he refuses to get involved. When someone slashes all her tires, she writes a follow-up out of anger. She gets the cover, celebrates her success, but her article inadvertently triggers reckless bloodshed in the centre of Split.
