Out from the Deep

Katrin Novaković was born in 1989 in Stuttgart, Germany. She graduated at the Arts Academy of the University of Split earning a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in the Film and Video program and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, earning a Master of Arts degree (MA) in Animation and new media. In 2015 she completed an internship at Trikk17-Animationsraum Studios in Hamburg, Germany. She won few awards with her student films in distribution of Bonobo studio and Zagreb film. She worked in 3D2D Animatori studio and sometimes for the Croatian national television. In 2018. She was a member of the jury at the European festival of animatied film Balkanima and was a selector in 2020. For the World Festival of Animated Film Animafest Zagreb. At the Baltic trail residency in Latvia within the EU project of Future DiverCities she started to do visual performances.
