Petar is a devoted priest in a village full of Christian zealots. One Sunday after the mass, he feels a craving for some ice cream. Determined to preserve the virtue of their priest, the villagers defy his wishes. However, Petar will do anything for this simple pleasure, even at the cost of his faith.

Karla Lulić

Screenwriter, director, and producer from Croatia with a Master’s degree in Film and Television Production from the Sorbonne University in Paris.

Previously, she worked as an assistant producer and a co-production coordinator in a Parisian production house Clandestine films, specialised in first and second features of young directors. Also, for more than 3 years she worked as Head of development and strategy on national television Nova TV in Zagreb.

Her previous short films In the Name of Strawberry, the Chocolate and the Holy Spirit, Following…, and Split Ends have screened at more than 50+ international film festivals worldwide.

She is currently developing her debut feature film a remake of the cult Yugoslav horror film She-Butterfly (Leptirica),  the TV series Dear Insects and Other Creepy Stories (recipient of the IEFTA Award at TorinoFilmLab), and the youth TV series Chasing the Clouds (selected for the Tallinn TV Beats Co-Financing Market). Karla is also working on a feature film Mirror of Nightingales.
