After he is fired from the Croatian police in the summer of 1991, Nenad decides to leave Croatia under an onslaught of threats because of his ethnicity. He also leaves his family behind, believing that the separation is temporary. To date Bojan Radanović has directed several short films, while his films Before Dark (ZFF 2016) and Letters (ZFF 2019) have also screened in the Checkers program.

Bojan Radanović (Nova Gradiška, 1979) is film director from Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated with a Master’s degree from the Directing studies of film and TV (Academy of dramatic art at the University of Zagreb). Bojan Radanović is an active member of non profit association named “Blank”, whose main activity is focused on film education for children and youth, and film production of short forms for debut authors.
