Lucija Strugar was born on September 21, 1999. in Zabok. She completed high school for media technician at the School of Art, Design, Graphics and Clothing Zabok. After high school, in 2018 she enrolled at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She is into film since second grade of high school, and her first film was a documentary titled "I'm sorry for nothing", which won the Best Documentary Film Award at the Four River Film Festival in Karlovac in 2016 and participated in many festivals - Zagreb Dox, Vox Feminae, Kiki Festival. After the documentary film she made an experimental film that won the Best Free Style Film Award at the Four River Film Festival and participated in the Dubrovnik Film Festival in 2017 and in the Croatian Film School, and the film is called "Fobikon". For her final work she made a documentary film with elements of an experimental and animated film titled "Ritual ispijanja kave", where she participated in the Four River Film Festival, the Dubrovnik Film Festival and the Croatian School Film Festival. In addition to being actively engaged in a movie, she likes to take photos and has won the Best Picture Award for the Snapshot National Gallery. She is also an active volunteer and received a volunteer award in 2016 in Krapina-Zagorje County.
