Matija Debeljuh

Matija Debeljuh was born on the 14th of April 1980 in Pula / Croatia. In December 2004 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Split / section Design of Visual Communications - Video Art in the class of prof. Vlado Zrnić. Matija represent Croatian video at the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean 2003. Matija has exibithed in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Pula, Rijeka, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Skopje, Turin, Trieste, Athens, Vilnius, New Yorku, Brussels… With several national and international workshops we should also abstract the participation of the Sarajevo Talent Campus, Sarajevo City of Film and the Berlinale Talent Campus. Experimental films and video works of Matija Debeljuh screened at international festivals where they have won significant awards.
