Two young nuns meet during a Catholic gathering and fall in love. Spaces they once considered havens of solace and spiritual fulfillment turn out to be more earthly than expected. Disillusioned by the Church and abuse within they make the most difficult decision – to leave the convent.

The City of Zagreb in a world with no water. the few surviving citizens are hiding in their apartments – if the thirst hasn't kill them, their neighbour might. One day, a white cat appears in a building, leaving behind wet paw prints. The tenants decide to follow the cat to the water source. But first they have to conquer their fear and unite.

Petar, a young man from the city, visits his friend Jura in the countryside. After a few pints at a local inn, Petar gets into a boat and pushes off down a calm moonlit river. The atmosphere suddenly changes as thick mist envelops the river and Petar is overcome by a dark sense of foreboding.
