A lonely girl spends her days in silent anticipation. Her grandma, who is on her deathbed, feels like a weight under which she lost her youth. Grandma's death would mean salvation for both of them. The girl can't tell anymore if she's awaiting the end for her grandmother's sake or out of her own need for freedom. As she roams the city lost in her own world, four unusual characters come to play in it, hidden from the eyes of grown-ups.
